The Missing Piece of the Weight Loss Puzzle

Both health and disease are choices.

They are both the result of the foods we eat, the things we drink, the lifestyles we live, the hours we sleep, and the thoughts we think.

The human body was intricately designed and has the God-given ability to heal itself; we just need to give it the right tools to do so.

If you were going to repair a damaged home, would you rebuild it with sturdy cement blocks or cardboard blocks? In order to restore our internal healing potential, we must focus on removing the three main causes of interference in our body, which are (1) Physical, (2) Chemical, and (3) Emotional Stress.

When we remove our interferences and give our body what it needs (proper nutrition, water, oxygen, and life), we can truly be transformed to the healthy being we were made to be.

Our Standard American Diet (also known as S.A.D.) is loaded with toxins, refined sugars, high fructose corn syrup, man-made fats, and artificial additives. The long-term abuse of this type of eating plan has caused hormone receptors to burnout leading to a cascade of hormonal imbalances in our bodies.

A key piece of the weight loss puzzle is a hormone called Leptin. Leptin communicates with our body and sends the signal “Burn Fat for Energy”. If the hormone Leptin is not working properly, you will not be able to lose weight and keep it off.

To increase your body’s ability to hear Leptin, you must reduce the amount of inflammation in your body.

The most logical place to start is with your diet!

After all, if you are ingesting foods that CAUSE inflammation, then you are feeding this nasty cycle, literally, everyday.

Eating a diet that is anti-inflammatory is the key, and this is achieved through three simple dietary changes.

1. Exchange Your Fats

Notice we didn’t say, “remove” your fats.

Eating fat is essential to eating anti-inflammatory; however it is the TYPE of fat that is the key.

Simply exchange your margarine, vegetable oils and shortenings with natural fats like real butter, coconut oil and grape seed oil. This is a great starting point.

2. Clean Your Meats

Most meat you consume from your typical grocery store and restaurants are what we call conventional meats, meaning they are commercially raised and processed using added growth hormones, toxic foods to make them fatter quicker, disgusting living conditions, and inhumane slaughtering methods.

All of these conditions put the animal in a state of stress and disease before coming to your plate.

This meat causes you to have hormonal imbalances and can hinder your brain from hearing that hormone Leptin you just learned about.

We recommend you to exchange conventional meat with Organic meats, wild caught fish, grass-fed beef and free-range chicken.

3. Remove Sugar & Grains

We all know sugar is not good for us, but did you know that sugar is one of the main drivers of inflammation?

Yes, sugar is one of the main culprits to your body not hearing Leptin, thus keeping your body from burning fat.

Here's the deal, your brain burns either fat or sugar for energy, that's it. There's nothing else it can burn for energy.

So if you're eating the S.A.D., then you are consuming 80% sugar in your daily diet.

I am not just talking to those of you that like your sweets, but those of you that love your carbs and sauces such as ketchup, BBQ sauce and most other condiments and dips.

We want you to replace those high sugar items like bread, pasta, rice, and desserts with good carbohydrates like vegetables and berries.

Those three changes will reduce the inflammation in your entire body, and begin the healing process for your brain to hear Leptin and for you to become the fat burner you have always wanted to be!
